Cyberlife Research is the name of the company created by Steve Grand when leaving Cyberlife (specifically, when the Cyberlife Institute closed). He and his wife (Ann Grand) are the only employees. Their current projects include Lucy, an animatronic orangutan, concieved May 2000.

The site has seen three major revisions. The original site lasted for about a year. The second revision was heavily based around Lucy, while the current version (February 2005) has a more balanced coverage of Cyberlife Research's other projects.
