I quote from Lisa on the forums:
"Creatures 2 had a lot of changes made to the game engine and was never designed to work with C1 - it was designed to be an all-new game. [...] Creatures 3 was released in about 2000, I think and again, was a brand new game with a lot of changes made to the engine (while we were developing it we called it C2E for "Enhanced", in fact)."
This neatly explains the c2e name which has confused a lot of people (it was explained to me as a variant of CEE, which doesn't make a lot of sense)! :) Fuzzie 17:31, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
